Orders may be placed by telephone or online via our website at www.cheesebombgifts.com
We accept payment via Paypal and most credit and debit cards via our website or telephone, or by BACs. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Solo / Electron/American Express. We use PayPal to collect/process transaction information.
Additionally, card details taken over the telephone will be entered into the same encrypted purchase area.
Our customer’s payment details are handled with the utmost confidentiality, ensuring the highest level of security at all times. Credit or debit card details will be input directly into the same encrypted purchase area which has restricted access to our directors and staff. All card payments are validated and authorised prior to completion of an order dispatch. We are not liable for non-delivery of goods if payment is not authorised. Our customers may order and pay for goods up to 60 days in advance of delivery, during which time the payment price will be upheld. It is a crime to purchase or attempt to purchase goods with a stolen credit card or with stolen personal details. We will take appropriate action if we discover any person is attempting to fraudulently purchase goods from our website. We reserve the right to withhold goods and terminate any account details with anybody who we suspect of fraudulent practice and / or breach of these terms and conditions.

DELIVERIES Our delivery schedules and prices refer to Tuesday to Friday deliveries only on orders received by 1pm Monday to Thursday. Orders received from Friday to Sunday will be dispatched within one to two working days after the weekend. Our delivery service includes most addresses within the UK mainland.
We will inform the customer via email of the dispatch and delivery date of their order. It is the responsibility of the customer to notify us either by email or phone within 12 hours of the dispatch date if the delivery date is not convenient and we will arrange for an alternative date with the customer, excluding weekends. If the customer does not notify us by the dispatch date and no one is available to receive the delivery, the courier will leave the parcel in a safe place on the premises, with a neighbour or return to the courier’s depot and they will post a card through the letterbox to advise, with instructions on how to rearrange delivery or to collect from the depot in person (each courier van carries a camera which records the driver’s actions). We cannot be responsible for the condition of any goods if the parcel is not collected within 12 hours of delivery or 24 hours of delivery if returned to the depot. Equally, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify us within 24 hours if the parcel has not been delivered on the delivery date as advised by us; after 24 hours we can not be held liable for the condition of any perishable goods including Cheese Bombs, which will leak if kept in a warm condition, or any damaged labels on goods if kept in a damp condition.
BANK HOLIDAY We are unable to offer deliveries Sundays or on Bank Holidays.
FRESH FOODS We deliver chilled food to mainland UK locations on a Tuesday through to Friday only. We do not offer Monday deliveries for any orders that include chilled or perishable foods.
UK MAINLAND AND EXTRAORDINARY DELIVERY ADDRESSES We deliver to all UK mainland addresses. We also deliver to the Highlands and Islands, however, customers are required to contact us for any additional surcharges prior to placing an order. There may be additional customs duties for certain countries.
PARCEL TRACKING Our deliveries are contracted to APC, one of the UK’s trusted courier companies.
We offer an NSR (No Signature Required) service at the point of order. If the courier attempts a delivery and the addressee is not available to accept the parcel, they will try to deliver to an immediate neighbour and secure their signature or leave the parcel in a safe place on the premises and post a card through the letterbox to inform the addressee of instructions for redelivery or collection made be arrangement. If the carrier does not receive a response to the card, they will return the parcel to us (please see our Terms under the Deliveries section)
The courier is required to notify us of any parcels that are not delivered in order that we may try to resolve the issue before the parcel is returned (please see our Terms under Deliveries section). We regret that we will only accept the delivery address as supplied at the point of placing the order. Additional charges will be made for redirection or for re-delivery due to address or postcode error. It is therefore the responsibility of the customer to ensure the full and correct address is supplied. We are not liable to offer any refunds whatsoever if the addressee has moved or lives at an alternate address or if the addressee refuses acceptance.
BFPO ADDRESSES We regret that we are unable to deliver to a BFPO / PO Box address due to its unreliability.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY All orders are subject to availability. If a product is out of stock we will contact the customer as soon as possible to agree an alternative product choice or refund.
CANCELLATION & RETURNS Under the Distance Selling Regulations, perishable items such as fresh foods are specifically excluded from the Right to Cancel and we regret we are unable to offer a refund if the customer has a change of mind once the goods have been dispatched.
For non-perishable goods customers have the legal right under the Distance Selling Regulations to cancel an Order within seven days (with the exception of any items ordered specifically by us to fulfil any such order). It is the customer’s right to cancel an order without providing a reason for cancelling. However, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify us by email or post in the event of a required cancellation.. For non-perishable items, the customer will be required to bear the cost of all product returns.
Returned goods must be received by us within seven days of delivery. Subsequent to our customer notifying us that they wish to cancel an order, the amount debited to us will be re-credited to the customer’s account within 7 days or notification of cancellation or on the receipt of the cancelled items being received by us in the same condition as received.
CANCELLATION BY US We reserve the right not to cancel orders received by our customers due to any unforeseen circumstances or if the delivery address provided is not a regular UK mainland address.
In the event of our cancelling an order, we will immediately notify the customer by e-mail or telephone and a full refund will be made to the customer’s original payment method.
DELIVERY DELAYS We cannot be held responsible for late deliveries due to adverse weather conditions, incomplete or incorrect addresses or any other such cause beyond our reasonable control.
DELIVERY COMPLAINTS We will acknowledge any complaints within one working day. We will keep all parties fully informed of our progress in trying to resolve any such issues.
DAMAGED GOODS The customer or recipient must notify us within 24 hours of receipt of any damaged goods. We will provide a full refund on any damaged goods caused by the courier or prior to dispatch from our warehouse.
We will provide a refund in full for any faulty goods received provided we are informed within 24 hours of receipt of delivery.
We are unable to offer refunds for failed deliveries if the recipient is not at the delivery address in accordance with our Terms under the Deliveries section.
WINES & SPIRITS The minimum age to purchase goods containing alcohol is 18 years of age.
It is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor under the Licensing Act 2003 for any persons under the age of 18.

VAT & DUTY All prices are fully inclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to amend prices according to legislative change.

We will respond to you within one working day at the latest. We are not liable for third party product issues that are deemed to be beyond our control.
